Like I said, I definitely don’t know much about the true comic continuity or the characters….I have a lot of interests and I never knew where to start with trying to get into actual comic reading. So yeah that’s accurate.
What bugs me is that there’s all these male Avengers, all with their own movies, with really defined personalities and powers and all that. Throwing Black Widow into Iron Man 2, along with her *relative* lack of development as a character, makes me feel like she’s a token character. What I want is for ‘female’ to NOT be a defining characteristic for an Avengers member, which it wouldn’t be if there was more than one girl on the team. I wanted Widow AND Wasp, not one or the other :)
I know not all heroes have to have powers :P That’s just something I want to see at some point.
